and not enough time in the entry to tell all. anyways....first off let me start off with the fact that last week was awesome along with the weekend. work sucked as usual, but Wednesday I started a week long mini-vacation. I kicked it off with a long awaited concert at the United Center seeing U2 and Dashboard Confessional (the opening band). it was an awesome concert despite some minor poorly EQ'd vocals at times. Then it was off to a wedding over the weekend. A cousin in New Jersy was geting married and it was amazing. He's a small town guy and he married a city Italian girl. The wedding was very nice, and her parents were cool too. They met everyone and it felt like an Italian wedding. After the ceremony the reception kicked off with a cocktail hour and open bar. after that hour it was dinner at 7:30 which lasted 2 hours before dessert was served. the dessert was awesome as it was in the form of what was called a Viennese Presentaion. 4-5 different tables each with different types of desserts all related at the tables. there was even a fondue fountain to make your own chocolate covered strawberries and pineapple. it was really good. my new favorite drink is a long island iced tea (mmmmm....iced tea). it was not a cheap wedding and it was an awesome one too. i even talked to my cousin who had advice and tried to get me to hook up with some of his single female friends. wasnt really feeling a good vibe from them though. so yea...that was my mini-vacation.
